Getting to Mallorca by plane

Palma de Mallorca International Airport (PMI) has excellent connectivity with over 30 European countries. With most of Europe just a short 2-hour flight away, reaching Palma is convenient and efficient. Mallorca International Airport is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive (8 km) from the Palma Congress Center, ensuring swift and hassle-free travel for conference attendees.

Getting to Mallorca by boat

Palma is also easily accessible by sea, with regular ferry connections from mainland Spain. Major ports such as Barcelona, Valencia, and Dénia offer daily services to Palma, with travel times ranging from approximately 5 to 8 hours, depending on the route and type of vessel. Ferries accommodate both passengers and vehicles, allowing attendees to bring their own transport if desired. Upon arrival, the Port of Palma is conveniently located just 5 km from the Palma Congress Center, ensuring quick and smooth transfers for visitors.

Palma offers a convenient and reliable public transportation system that will help you easily move between the airport and the Congress venue, Playa de Palma and the city center.

Tickets & Payments

- Card payments (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted on city buses.

- Single ride: 2-5€ (paid in cash to the driver).

- 10-trip pass: 15€ — available at most bus stop vending machines.

From the airport...

...to the Congress Venue.

You can take the A1 bus line from Palma Airport directly to the the Congress Venue. For your return journey, the stop for the A1 bus back to the airport is located just across the street.

...to the City Center.

The A1 bus line connects Palma Airport directly with the city center, with its final stop at Passeig Mallorca – Jaume III / Es Baluard.

...to Playa de Palma.

The A2 bus line connects the airport with Playa de Palma. The airport is only a short ride away from Playa de Palma.

From Playa de Palma...

...to the Congress Venue & City Center.

From Playa de Palma, you can reach the Congress venue by taking either:

> Bus Line 25 – every 20 minutes

> Bus Line 23 – every 30 minutes

Both lines stop right in front of the venue. The journey takes approximately 20–25 minutes.

Line 25 is generally faster and more frequent. It also continues to the City Center, stopping near the Cathedral, which is ideal for sightseeing or attending Congress social events.

The last departure of Line 25 from the City Center to Playa de Palma is at 1:55 am, making it a convenient option after evening activities.
